Essential Fragrances

Deep Love exists when the aromas of rose murmurs around. Anger is diluted, when the sensitive fragrance of jasmine whispers around. The fragrance around plays a great role in altering the state of one’s mind.

Want to Wear Perfume! – Fragrant clothes, towels, sheets etc…
To have a sweet-smelling clothes, towels etc… Apply a few drops of essential oil into a small piece of cloth or cotton ball, and drop it in the washing machine while drying, or add 5 drops of essential oil to ¼ cup fabric softener and place it in the centre cup of the washing machine. As the vapors of the oil rise up, it distributes the fragrance through out your clothes giving a fresh wash!

A kiss from butterflies!
Use a blend of lavender, chamomile or geranium of 6-8 drops in your bathing water or tub while bath.

How about guests touching their noses down to carpet!
Add 10 drops of essential oil to a box of baking soda mix it and let it soak for a day and than sprinkle over the carpets. Let it set for an hour or more and than vacuum it up. This process allows the fragrance to sink in the bushes of the carpet, allowing it to release the fragrance when stepped.

Aromatic Rooms!
A few drops in a radiator or a light bulb. When in use the heat and the air flow will spread the room with a natural aroma like in gardens.

Does your fridge stink?
Clean your fridge, freezer or oven with one drop of lemon or orange essential oil added with the rinse water. The desire of eating more will disappear and you’ll be back in your senses!

Utensils are not made to stink!
Clove oil can be added in a quantity of few drops to a shimmering pan, to dispel the household cooking odors.

How about warm fragrance from your vacuum cleaner?
Just place a cotton ball in your vacuum cleaner bag with a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Lime or pines are recommended to have a nice effect.
- Rosemary helps to promote the alertness and stimulates the memory. Inhale occasionally if you have a habit of feeling dizzy. Recommended during long car trips.
- For Dreamy and restful Sleeps, Place 1 – 2 drops of enhancing oils of lavender or Neroli on your pillow.

Smelly Shoes! Drop a few drops of geranium directly into the shoes and say bye to the pungent smell.

Lavender is one of my favorite essential oils. I use a few drops at night to help me get to sleep.
