A Man’s Illusion

Man wants happiness.

He shuns pain.

He moves heaven and earth to get the happiness he wants from sensual objects, and gets himself entangled in the extricable meshes of Maya (ILLUSION).

Poor man! He does not know that these objects are perishable and evanescent, finite and conditioned in time, space, and causation. And what is more, he fails to get the desired happiness from them.

Make the world cry for you, when you die !

Jab Tun Aaya Jagat Mein, Log Hanse Tu Roye
Aise Karni Na Kari, Pache Hanse Sab Koye

_____________________________________________________________

When you were born in this world
everyone laughed while you cried
Conduct NOT yourself in manner such
That they laugh when you are gone

My Understanding
In this Doha, Kabir reflects on the fact that when a child is born, the entire family rejoices with glee.  And when a person passes away, those who are left behind mourn and cry.  However, true mourning is done for those who left a loving impression on their family, kith and kin, clan and society at large.  It has also been noted that when a cruel person passes away, people are more happy and relaxed rather than in a mourning state.

The impression of an individual, either as a compassionate one or a wicked one, is the outcome of one’s actions conducted during one’s lifetime.  Kabir, in this doha warns that if one will live one’s life in an unbecoming manner, then no one will shed a tear on his death.

Meditate While Sleeping!

An experiment suggested by Osho can allow us to slip into a very fruitful meditation while we sleep. Amrit Sadhana writes about this experiment

and tells how to perform it …

Sleep is a mysterious realm which can be used in many ways for awakening. It carries all the secrets of our motions and emotions that occurred during the day. In fact sleep has a peculiar quality which allows us to wake up with the same thought that we had last, before falling to sleep. This quality could be used to enhance some positive trait.

Osho has suggested an experiment which could allow us to slip into a deep and effortless meditation while we sleep. He says, if we want to develop ‘witnessing’ or sakshibhav within, then each night, just before sleeping, we should silently repeat the word ‘witnessing‘ and recall the space and the energy field.
On waking up we’ll find that it is the first thought in our minds. It is important to create the space and not just the word as it is the space that we experience during the meditation. With this experiment we are trying to make the mind remember that when we wakeup the first thought should be of witnessing and the whole space of witnessing. Even if we were to fall asleep during the process, the mind will go on repeating the word and the space. The whole night turns into a meditative session with the space present as an undercurrent. Here are few tips that we could keep in mind while practicing this meditation:-

TIPS
Try not to count the number of times the word is repeated.

Try not to worry about the sleep. Simply enjoy the space Allison Choppick of ‘witnessing’ and allow the sleep to merge with it

After a point we’ll be able to hear a faraway echo and before time we’ll forget all about witnessing This experiment allows us to convert the six to eight hours of sleep into a fruitful meditation session. The experiment could be taken as successful if on awakening we find that the first thought that envelopes us is that of ‘witnessing’. The same style of meditation could be tried with other qualities such as love, joy, compassion, courage and so on.

Meditation on LORD SHIVA

Shaantam padmaasanastham shashadharamakutam panchavaktram trinetram,
Shoolam vajram cha khadgam parashumabhayadam dakshinaange vahantam;
Naagam paasham cha ghantaam damaruka sahitam chaankusham vaamabhaage,
Naanaalankaara deeptam sphatika maninibham paarvateesham namaami.

I prostrate myself before the five-faced Lord of Parvati, who is adorned with various ornaments, who shines like the crystal jewel, who is seated peacefully in the lotus pose, with moon-crested crown, with three eyes, wearing trident, thunderbolt, sword and axe on the right side, who holds the serpent, noose, bell, damaru and spear on the left side, and who gives protection from all fear to His devotees.

TIPS : While meditating, meditate with the feeling to taste and experience the spiritual consciousness.

Lord shive is known for his third eye. Deep meditation on these vibrations will help you to activate your third eye or the eye of intuition.

How to keep your aquarium clean ?

Regular aquarium maintenance can ensure the smooth running and general good health of your tank, your filter and your fish

Using a siphon is the easiest way of removing water from your aquarium while changing water. Using a bucket is the best choice

You prime the siphon by sucking, or safer and potentially healthier by completely submerging and filling the pipe, and then putting your finger over one end while holding the other end in the aquarium. Place the finger end in the bucket and release – water should flow.

Many siphon systems include a gravel cleaning tube on the end. This is used to probe and push into the gravel, or more gently into sand, to remove detritus. The gravel falls back onto the substrate bed, while soft slimy waste and wastes are sucked up and into a bucket.

Watch this video how to clean the gravel slime

Algae scrubbers

Before you remove the water and waste, clean any algae off the glass so that you can siphon it away. Algae removal uses several different styles of tool, but they are usually scrubbers, scrapers or scourers.
Scrapers come in hard or soft plastic (the soft being used on acrylic tanks) and metal. On some models you can clip on a razor blade to remove lime scale deposits.

TIP: Gentle, smooth movements enable you to remove all but stubborn algae.

Enjoy Cleaning

Evil Bramha = Evil Mind

The Evil Bramha : Well there is nothing known as evil bramha ! Bramha is the creator of this very existing universe. Bramha is nothing but our very own mind!
Its how we train our mind, or allow it to tale over us.

The picture above explains, the MIND being controlled by the illusion of the world.

The Lotus flower which symbolizes the calm base, is converted to burning and roaring flames, encouraging anger and negativity.
The desires have over taken the mind with anger resulting in killing the character.
The love Is begin destroyed, within the character (Green represents = heavenly love or universal love).

Why Friendship Day

Friendship Day celebrations take place on the first Sunday of August every year.

Everything began as a tradition of dedicating a day in honor of friends in US in 1935. In 1935 American Govt had killed a person on 1st Saturday of Aug. The next day his friend committed suicide in his memory. Since then American Govt declared 1st Sunday of Aug as friendship day. Gradually the festival gained popularity and today Friendship Day is celebrated in large number of countries. On this day people spend time with their friends and express love for them. Exchange of Friendship Day Gifts like flowers, cards and wrist bands is a popular tradition of this occasion.

The United States Congress, in 1935, proclaimed the first Sunday of August as National Friendship Day. Since then, celebration of National Friendship Day became an annual event. The noble idea of honoring the beautiful relationship of friendship caught on with the people and soon Friendship Day became a hugely popular festival.

Following the popularity and success of Friendship Day in US, several other countries adopted the tradition of dedicating a day to friends. Today, Friendship Day is enthusiastically celebrated by several countries across the world. In 1997, the United Nations named Winnie the Pooh as the world’s Ambassador of Friendship.

Many friends wish each other with exchange of gifts and cards on this day. “Friendship bands” are very popular in India. The reason of tying friendship bands has come into existence, because of the traditions followed in raksha bandhan.
